In these last days, God will gather the preserved of Jacob, a special remnant of Israel, to serve him as soldiers of a new invincible army of the kingdom of God, the 144000.
I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make a great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
Micah 2:12
… Israel… the rod… Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war…
Jeremiah 51:19-20
As the first of the saints in these last days, the servant of God prophesied in Isaiah 49, I am to shine light, in whatever way I can, on this new army, to help bring it about. Although my role is small, the task itself is considerable because the total number is 144000: 12000 from each of the various tribes of Israel (ref. Revelation 7, Revelation 14).
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel…
Isaiah 49:6
So, how to know if you are a saint, one of the “holy ones” of God?
First, you are male (ref. Revelation 14:4). You might be a young man or an old man (ref. Jeremiah 31:13).
Second, you are single, and you have never married. The word the Bible uses is “virgin” (ref. Revelation 14:4, Isaiah 54:1, Jeremiah 31:13). You must have no significant other and no dependants, so that you might become the perfect soldier for God in time to come (ref. 2 Timothy 2:4).
Third, you have ancestry to one of the twelve tribes of Jacob (ref. Revelation 7:1-8). Three of these tribes – Juda, Levi, Benjamin – mean that some of you, 12000 x 3 in total, are what the world has come to know as Jews. As for the lost tribes of the ancient kingdom of Israel, it might be impossible for you to tell, but God knows who you are and he will somehow call you to him. When ancient Assyria scattered the northern kingdom of Israel (ref. Hosea 1:10-11), the people were scattered to the “north”, to the “west”, and to “Sinim” (ref. Isaiah 49:12). So, if you have ancestry to areas north and west of Jerusalem or ancestry to China, then you might be a saint.
Fourth, you were shaped in your mother’s womb (ref. Psalms 22:10, Psalms 139:13-14, Isaiah 49:1, Isaiah 44:1-2, Isaiah 44:24, Isaiah 46:3). This means, God has kept track of your bloodline over the centuries, and he has remembered your lineage to Israel, for the purpose of forming this army of the saints.
Fifth, you have a name that is meaningful to Christianity. The name that you were given at birth, every part of it including your surname, came from God (ref. Isaiah 40:26, Isaiah 49:1, Isaiah 45:4). More to it, your divinely inspired name should tell you something about your purpose or destiny in life. So, examine the etymology of your name thoroughly, and even those of your parents and siblings, to see if there is meaning.
Sixth, you were predestinated by God to become a saint (ref. Romans 8:29-30, Ephesians 1:4-23, 1 Samuel 2:9, Isaiah 40:26). Even if you know nothing now, you were chosen by God, and you will be called by God.
Seventh, you might have lived a life somewhat separate from others. To be sanctified, by definition, is to be set apart. This is a kind of “sacrifice” that you have made, willingly or otherwise (ref. Psalms 50:5). It is a covenant between you and God (ref. Romans 8:18-21).
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Romans 8:18-21
Now, what is the work of a saint? What exactly will this army do for Jesus Christ during and after his Millennial Reign?
Believe me or not, the answer to that can be found in the following four movies: Brightburn (2019), Ghostbusters Afterlife (2021), Mulan (2020), Nobody (2021).
1. Brightburn (2019):
You will help Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God “take the world” (ref. Jeremiah 51:19-23, Daniel 2:35, Psalms 46:8-11)! As of now, almost the entire world lies in the hands of Satan (ref. 1 John 5:19). This explains the wars and wrath of God of these last days (ref. Revelation 19:11). But Armageddon and the end of the two beasts of Satan are only the start. There will be more to do, and some of this work will be done by the saints (ref. Isaiah 62:11, Revelation 22:12-13). The entire world must be won over: every enemy of Jesus Christ must be stopped (ref. 1 Corinthians 15:25). And Brightburn (2019) does not mince words on this subject. There will be a ferocity in all of this (ref. Jeremiah 51:19-23). All who have been blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life must be “destroyed”. And God will give his army of saints the power to do this (ref. Psalms 149:5-9, Isaiah 54:1-3).
Brightburn (2019) is deliberately thought provoking in that the protagonist appears to be an antihero and almost villainous. To understand what this is about, you must realise that the world in these last days has been so deceived by Satan (ref. Revelation 12:9) and so strongly deluded by Mystery Babylon (ref. Revelation 18:23, 2 Thessalonians 2:11, Isaiah 24:10), the wellfavoured harlot (ref. Nahum 3:4), that for the most part it cannot tell good from evil (ref. Isaiah 5:20-21). Also, the word “pervert” from a religious standpoint means “apostate”, as in apostasy or “falling away” (ref. 2 Thessalonians 2:3). So, if an actual apostate accuses you of apostasy (ref. Isaiah 54:17), it is because the apostate is the one that is confused on matters of doctrine.
2. Ghostbusters Afterlife (2021):
You will put an end to demons, so that the problem of evil is no more. Right now, there are some 50 million fallen angels roaming about, messing with people’s minds, and sometimes causing souls to be lost (ref. Revelation 12:4 and Revelation 5:11). The saints will number 144000 – exactly or at least, depending on where the saints of the past fit into the scheme of things. There are more of them than there are of us, but we can kill them and they cannot kill us. A large number of demons will be trapped in Babylon by an act of God (ref. Revelation 18:2, Jeremiah 51:37, Isaiah 13:21-22), so those ones are out of the conflict. But the rest elsewhere, presumably, must be hunted (ref. Jeremiah 16:16) and silenced (ref. 1 Samuel 2:9), so that no further souls are misled and lost. A demon cannot escape the earth’s magnetic field, and therefore when the sun eventually burns the entire planet earth, every demon will be destroyed.
3. Mulan (2020):
Some time after the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ, when Jesus Christ has returned to heaven, a number of saints under the leadership of one called “Gog” (ref. Ezekiel 38, Ezekiel 39, Revelation 20:7-9) in the land of Magog will openly rebel against God, and attempt to take the kingdom in Zion (ref. Joel 3:20) in another direction. These treacherous saints will do this because at that time they will be deceived by Satan (ref. Revelation 20:7-9, Matthew 25:1-2). This is the final tribulation, one that only the saints will have to endure (ref. Isaiah 41:15). I and those saints that remain loyal to God, whomever they are, will fight the rebels. Isaiah 41:25 prophesies that the strongest of the saints, me, will come from a land at the rising of the sun back to Zion to help defend the kingdom and defeat Gog and his lot. Zion will hold on because the likes of David and Paul will be there. Every saint that still serves God will protect the people, for the people will be in no position to fight back, not even the sword wielding humans on the side of Gog. Once the kingdom and the planet have been secured, I suppose, we are to make the world Christian again (ref. Ezekiel 39:21). I think, only at the time of the new Jerusalem will the remaining rebels be hunted down. However, Gog, the chief prince of this second rebellion, is to fall in the area of Zion and so he will (ref. Ezekiel 39:11).
4. Nobody (2021):
From the end of the war of Gog of Magog and until the new Jerusalem – the third and final bride of Christ (ref. Revelation 21:2) – the rebels that are still alive might probe and try to spoil various parts of the world. They will come after human Christians under the care of particular saints (ref. Isaiah 54:3). But in doing so, some of them can be trapped and killed, thereby making the job of hunting down what is left of the rebels in outer space simpler. The rebels cannot increase their number, so for every one of them that falls, there is one less to think about.
In regard to the treachery over 1000 years from now of some of the saints (ref. Isaiah 54:15), the punishment will come after the crime. I suppose, until then, everyone will be given the benefit of the doubt, so that all might be able to make the correct choice when the final test of evil comes.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges [saints] of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son [loyalty to God], lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Psalms 2:10-12
Certainly, on the day of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and until Jesus Christ leaves the earth for heaven, the entire army of the saints, all 144000 (ref. Revelation 14:1), will fight together and for the glory of the kingdom of God. During the Millennial Reign, it will be Jesus Christ himself who will command this army (ref. Isaiah 45:12), as the King of the saints (ref. Revelation 15:3), either directly or through the Holy Spirit.
