The Trump administration has started talks with Russia's Vladimir Putin in an attempt to end the Ukraine war. US defense secretary Pete Hegseth has said that it is "unrealistic" for Ukraine to get back lost territory (ref. 1), nor will Ukraine be permitted to join NATO. The suggestion from Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Kursk, which is still in Ukrainian hands, be swapped for territory that Russia has taken from Ukraine has been rejected outright by Russia (ref. 2).
The Europeans and others that have supported Kyiv are saying that this is basically America stabbing Ukraine in the back. The EU's foreign policy chief stated that "Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity are unconditional". Meanwhile, US Senator Adam Schiff made the point that this represents "a surrender of Ukraine's interests".
Now, it seems to me, Trump wants this conflict to end because it is essentially a war between the USA and Russia. Let's not forget that all of this started because the CIA did not want the then elected president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to sign up to China's Belt and Road. It was America that sparked Maidan 2014, and it was American agents that shot sniper rounds at both police and protesters alike to rile up the people of Ukraine further. According to a New York Times expose several years ago, the CIA has been in Ukraine since 2014 covertly waging war against Russia. Even today, America has not stopped doing this sort of thing. The latest is Panama. Weeks ago, Panama ebruptly withdrew from China's Belt and Road, after Trump threaten to militarily seize the Panama Canal (ref. 3).
To my mind, Trump is trying to suck up to Putin, because he knows that Russia will be one of the nations that will comprehensively nuke Babylon on the day of the LORD.
Trump is fearful that the war in Ukraine might escalate. But he might also be eager to get Russia on side or at least neutral before he begins his Make-America-Great-Again, expansionist agenda: ie. Greenland and Canada.

Jeremiah 51:11-13
In the event that the Medes also refers to Iran, because of ancient Medo-Persia, Trump has now also taken to sidling up to Iran, to the surprise of Israel. Whereas before Trump said that he did not want a nuclear deal with Iran, now he says he prefers talks to bombing (ref. 4).
Despite all of his obsequiousness to several of America's foes, it remains to be seen whether Trump can change Babylon's fiery fate.
In fact, the Bible does prophesy that at this time of the end, Babylon strives against the LORD.
I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.
Jeremiah 50:24
Remember, Bible prophecy is the will of God. This is why the LORD's prayer goes: Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Trump's Gaza plan is another attempt to challenge God, in this case to circumvent the prophecies of Zephaniah 2:4-5 and Ezekiel 25:16-17. Of course, Trump has conned Israel, which was prophesied to happen in Isaiah 28, but he is also trying to keep alive the Muslims of Gaza - those whom God has condemned. The fact of the matter is that the Palestinians could have left the land of Israel decades ago. At one point, many did go to Christian Lebanon, but once there instead of renouncing Islam, they created Hezbollah and they transformed and ruined Lebanon. Hezbollah was a result of the civil war.
Still, when God's super move happens, Isaiah 47, then Russia and the USA will be on opposite sides again, and then there will be nothing that Trump can do about it.
Of course, if the Ukraine war were to stop, then Russian territorial gains would be a fait accompli. Russia is the first horse of the apocalypse, and now, Russia has in fact conquered territory.
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Revelation 6:1-2
Luckily, Trump loathes China. I am sure, he cannot stand the increasing wealth and new found power of China. These things must challenge his notions of white supremacy and America "first".
China has re-emerged as a superpower in these last days because it is the will of God. Long ago, China was more or less at the top in terms of GDP and military power. But then, China was humbled, because it had forsaken "the mandate of heaven" and it had allowed evil to flourish: the Tang dynasty, the "dragon" throne, the heresy of Hong Xiuquan, etc. Then China was recovered by a group of peasants in the name of the people. So today, at this time of the end, China is back, destined to do great things for God and the world.
In due course, either before or after the third and fourth seals, the second seal will be broken, and there will be a full on war between America and China.
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Revelation 6:3-4
This war will surely go nuclear.
No doubt, at the time of the second seal, Russia, will be in the fight against America too. In these last days, Russia is led by a Christian, someone who wears a crown of victory ("stephanos, ref. Revelation 6:2), and furthermore, Russia is another of the prophesied "kings of the east", since Kamchatka in Russia's far east is where the sun rises first during certain months of the year.
By the time of Armageddon, both the Assyrian and the king of Babylon will be against the kings of the east. Why else would an angel of God help the armies of the kings of the east move across the Euphrates river when the sixth vial is poured out?
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
Revelation 16:12
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Consider also Jeremiah 5:15-16, wherein God says to Israel that he will bring to the battlefield of Armageddon a nation from far, a mighty and ancient nation!
Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say. Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.
