Despite the foreign interference of the Trump administration, a blatant attempt at election meddling to bolster the AfD, Germany has elected the CDU and CSU, giving them, with the counting almost over, 28.7% of the vote. The far right AfD is at 19.8%, while Olaf Scholz's SPD fell to 16.4%, and the Greens have 12.3%.
This result makes Friedrich Merz the new chancellor of Germany (ref. 1).
First of all, let me remind, the Cs in CDU and CSU stand for "Christian". So, the CDU and CSU are supposed to be Christian political parties. Christian but interdenominational. Both the CDU and the CSU began after WW2 and Adolf Hitler. The CDU in particular was conceived to prevent the rebirth of fascism in Germany!
Now, Merz himself is interesting in that he has been described as "the antithesis of former conservative chancellor Angela Merkel" (ref. 1).
In 2004, he fell out with Merkel, and was sidelined, so he left parliament to work as a lawyer. In 2018, he returned to politics. And in 2022, he was elected leader of the CDU.
In his early days, he was very pro-America, a staunch supporter of NATO. But Donald Trump has changed his mind. Nowadays, Merz says, he would like to see Germany "more independent from America". Merz has criticised Trump more harshly than Merkel ever did, and he has been especially vocal about Trump's trade war against Europe.
Merz has ruled out any alliance with the AfD, describing them as fundamentally Nazi and antisemitic.
Merz has also vowed to reverse the partial decriminalisation of cannabis, which is probably something the Greens came up with, and the SPD went along with.
Incidentally, have you noticed that the now former German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock, who is a Greens politician, went around doing the Merkel-Raute occult handsign at every photo op? Baerbock is also a Lutheran, which explains her anti-Jew and pro-Muslim leanings.
Anyway, with such a low percentage of the total votes, Merz will have to form a coalition with other parties. So, it remains to be seen whether and how Germany might change from its current all the way with the USA path.
Three weeks ago, Merz's CDU did vote the same way as the AfD on a motion concerning immigration. That prompted huge spontaneous demonstrations. But to my mind, immigration is an issue that the AfD has been exploiting for some time now to their advantage, and so this thing that Merz did changed the narrative and took votes away from the AfD. Plus, if anything, to be anti-immigration after Merkel allowed millions of Arab refugees into Germany is to be anti-Islam.
To survive as a nation at this time of the end, Germany must be both anti-Islam and anti-America.
I had thought, Merkel, with her Greek middle name "Dorothea" meaning "Gift of God", and Macron, with his Hebrew first name "Emmanuel" meaning "God with us", were supposed to steer Germany and France in the correct direction in these last days. And then, as goes Germany and France, so goes Europe.
Merkel even had a remarkable upbringing. She lived in East Germany. She is fluent in Russian. Her father was a Protestant preacher. She graduated PhD in chemistry. But even with all that, at some point, she lost the plot and started doing her notorious occult hand sign. And sure enough, Germany under her has been staunchly pro-America, basically a vassal state.
Make no mistake, in these last days, especially with Donald Trump crowned as its king, America is the enemy! America has long been a source of evil, but soon it will be plain for all to see.
The Canadians have gotten the hang of it, booing at an ice hockey match the Star Spangled Banner, which, mind you, is about the USA surviving the 1812 war between the USA and Canada. Then, immediately after the starting whistle, in the first nine seconds of the game, three fist fights broke out.
I have never understood why hockey allows this sort of thing in their sport. The gloves are literally taken off. The referees watch and wait. And the crowd cheers it all on.
Oddly enough, apparently if the gloves don't come off, the refs will break it up. But if the gloves do come off, then it's on.
Something to notice is that in the third fight, the American that was throwing wild punches managed somehow to punch himself in the head, knocking his own helmet off.
This reminds me, at some point in these last days, the Devil will in effect punch himself. After that, the world will be able to see Babylon the way she truly is. This is the prophecy of Isaiah 47.
With so much spinning and twisting so to speak - ie. all the deceiving, and pretending to switch sides, and the resulting confusion - it is bound to happen.
