In May 1948, oddly enough around the time the modern state of Israel was formed, unusually heavy rains and a number of earthquakes exposed an intriguing site about 30km south of Mount Ararat in modern day Turkiye, a site that has come to be known as the Durupinar formation. The formation was discovered by a Kurdish shepherd and its shape resembles a large boat. Ever since, many have wondered whether this is the remains of Noah's Ark. The dimensions of the Durupinar formation is said to more or less match the dimensions of Noah's Ark as it is described in the Bible.
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

In 2019, ground penetrating radar of the formation revealed rectangular shapes about 22ft below the surface, and even a long hallway that opens into a central space. This says, the structure is man made.
Another thing is, the grass inside the formation turns yellower in the autumn. This also leads researchers to conclude that there are still open cavities under the surface, as in the rooms of the boat.
Last year, tests of the pH of 22 soil samples reveal higher organic matter and also higher potassium inside the boat shape. This result suggests the structure is rotting wood.
And now, 30 new samples of soil and rock from around the formation show clay-like materials, and marine deposits, and even remnants of marine life such as molluscs (ref. 1). All of this again points to a boat that was once afloat at sea, a boat that had some man made pottery in it.
Carbon dating of the samples show that these things are between 3500 to 5000 years old, which is yet more evidence that this was the exact boat used by Noah and his family to survive the great flood of Genesis 6.
Scientists working on the project still have a lot to do before archaeological excavation can begin.
It is something that Noah's Ark is now making headlines. The Bible prophesies that the time of the end shall be as the days of Noah.
... as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
