Bobby Fischer, who famously defeated Boris Spassky in the World Chess Championship match of 1972, was at times, to put it simply, out of his mind. Some have even described Fischer’s eccentric and erratic behaviour, throughout his life but especially during that important match of 1972, as madness.
The movie Pawn Sacrifice (2015) portrays Fischer and that pivotal chess match.
In his day, Fischer made headlines by becoming the youngest ever Grandmaster in chess history, at the age of 15. Nowadays, with the phenomenon of chess engines and convenient online play, up-and-comers are making Grandmaster around 13 years. For instance, the reigning world champion, Norway’s Magnus Carlsen, got his Grandmaster title at 13. Understanding of chess theory now is also greater, simply because of chess training through computers. So I would not say Fischer was the greatest player ever. Still, he was a prodigy, a Grandmaster and then a World Champion.
In many ways, the story of the chess prodigy Beth Harmon in Walter Tevis’s 1983 novel The Queen’s Gambit is based on the life of Bobby Fischer. In 2020, that story was made into a Netflix series.
Fischer was raised by his mother, a single parent, in working-class Brooklyn; the fictional Harmon was an orphan adopted and brought up to all intents and purposes by a single parent. Fischer dropped out of school and earned a living by playing chess tournaments; Harmon also makes money through competitive chess. Fischer takes on the Russians for the world championship at the height of the Cold War; so too does Harmon. Fischer once told an interviewer in Japan that not having alcohol made him physically ill; Harmon also drinks a lot of alcohol. Above all, Fischer was at times out of his mind; Harmon consumes drugs and now and again does crazy things.
In effect, The Queen’s Gambit (2020) is the Devil’s reimagining of Bobby Fischer. Yes, Fischer did lose his mind like the fictional Harmon. But Fischer also famously observed that in chess, women rarely become Grandmasters. Moreover, in his day, Fischer expressed his dislike of the opening the Queen’s Gambit because 1.d4 unlike 1.e4 is more positional than tactical. And on top of that, Fischer in his youth was nicknamed “the corduroy killer” for his wearing plain sweaters and unfashionable corduroy pants. By contrast, the fictional Harmon likes to dress glamorously.
Now, I should point out that the actress Anya Taylor Joy often stars in movies about demons. Foremost is The Witch (2015), about witchcraft in New England. There’s also M. Night Shyamalan’s Split (2016), about the phenomenon of multiple personality disorder. Plus, there’s The Northman (2022), about vikings and a sorceress. And there’s Barry (2016), about Barack Obama.
In The Queen’s Gambit (2020), it is suggested that Harmon’s creativity in chess, in other words her vision or tactical ability, comes from her taking a tranquilizer drug. This is the sort of thing that a demon would say. One soundbite of the series goes, “Creativity and psychosis often go hand in hand, or for that matter, genius and madness”.
Apparently, Bobby Fischer also had demons about him too.
Fischer was born a Jew but over time he embraced some form of pseudo Christianity. On his training team was one William Lombardy, a fellow American competitive chess player that was once a Catholic priest. Plus, for a short while, Fischer was associated with the Worldwide Church of God, an Adventist organisation. So, Catholicism and a bit of Adventism, rather than proper KJV-based Christianity.
An interesting fact about Fischer’s eccentric life is that at one point everywhere he went he carried around with him a blue cardboard box (ref. 1). One day, at a restaurant, while Fischer was in the restroom, a friend of his found out that in that blue box, Fischer put a Bible. This tells me that Fischer was indeed haunted by evil spirits, and was desperate for a solution.
The drama of the World Chess Championship in 1972 at Reykjavík, Iceland – the question, would Fischer play the match or not against the Russian Boris Spassky for the world title? – came down to spirits from both sides, one side trying to convince him to play, and the other trying to convince him not to play. I am talking about the proverbial angel on one shoulder and demon on the other.
It is arguable which side wanted him to play and which did not.
My instinct is that Fischer was fated to play and so win the match, so that world history would turn out a certain way. With hindsight, compared to Spassky, Fischer was the better or more skilful player. Better as in he played more accurately, with fewer blunders. This is why I say winning the match was merely a matter of playing or not.
Why do I say it was God’s will that Fischer win the World Chess Championship of 1972?
For a start, Fischer died of kidney failure in the year 2008, at the age of 64. There are 64 squares on a chessboard.
Furthermore, that 1972 chess match turned the tide for the USA in the Cold War. The USA had lost China to Mao. The USA could not win the Korean war. The USA was losing the war in Vietnam. The space race against the USSR was a farce. The USA had to resort to lying and faking the moon landing to keep up appearances, something Stanley Kubrick and a few others like those behind Capricorn One (1977) tried to leak. The promising and intelligent JFK was assassinated. It was one loss after another. The losers working for the US government were always losing.
You see, the USA had to win the Cold War against the USSR, so that Bible prophecy about the time of the end can be fulfilled.
It is the word of God that the USA will become the eighth kingdom of Satan (ref. Revelation 17:11), Mystery Babylon, the land of the forthcoming false prophet of Revelation 13.
… I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass…

And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre [think Templars and Freemasonry], and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication [spiritual harlotry as opposed to faithfulness to God] with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.

In the last days, this superpower is to reign over the kings of the earth, as if she controlled a one-world government. Think NATO and the Five Eyes.

So, the USA had to start winning the Cold War at some point.
Even the conquest of Iraq, the literal Babylon of Nebuchadnezzar, was part of America’s manifest destiny. It was always meant to happen, so that faithful Jews and Christians at this time of the end might realise that the USA is “the daughter of Babylon”, as prophesied in the Bible.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor [tribulum as in tribulation], it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest [the rapture] shall come.
Jeremiah 51:33
This same “daughter of Babylon”, for now a place with many Jews, and in effect holding the “throne” of the world, will be punished by God in time to come and ultimately on the day of the LORD.
Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate… Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. I was wroth with my people [Jews], I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy…

On the day of the LORD, when Babylon comes to an end, the world will change.
That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth. The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth in singing.

Returning to Bobby Fischer, notice his mother was born to Polish Jews, and besides that she was essentially anti-America, a communist sympathiser during the early years of the Cold War. So Fischer would have started off his life as someone against the American government. But then at the height of the Cold War, he did this thing in 1972 for America. And then towards the end of his life, due to US sanctions against him for playing chess in Yugoslavia, he became anti-America once more.
I suggest, both Fischer’s win in 1972 and some of his anti-America-ness were from God.
To be sure, at times, Fischer was also anti-Jew. This, despite himself being of Jewish origin. It is said, he even read Nazi literature (ref. 2). I attribute these things to the presence of demons. Remember, I mentioned above, demons and angels were around him during points of his life. And it is this haunting that explains his erratic behaviour: his changing his mind every so often, especially in 1972.
On the matter of being anti-America in these last days, believe it or not, it is a prerequisite for salvation to hate America!
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Logically, those who are for America at the time of the false prophet – those who assume America can do no wrong – will inevitably take the mark of the beast and be damned by God for it.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her [Babylon], my people [Jews], that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Now, I would like to draw your attention to some of the key games of the 1972 chess match between Spassky and Fischer.
In the very first game, Fischer, all of a sudden, played an obviously wrong move, 29… Bxh2, losing his black bishop for no reason. No chess player in a serious tournament or match would have done that, so I think something supernatural happened. In this instance, the black bishop, I suppose, represents the coming false prophet, whom by the way will be black. The point of the move being, the false prophet ultimately means defeat, the loss of one’s soul.
The second game was a no show. Fischer lost it by forfeit.
In the third game, down 2-0, Fischer chose to play the Modern Benoni. Today, many competitive chess players would agree that the Benoni is a difficult opening for black to play. There is a structural weakness, the d6 pawn, that white will always exploit. So to choose the Benoni is to play at a disadvantage from the start. To draw, let alone win, black must play very well. And this, Fischer did.
The term “benoni” is actually Hebrew for “ben oni”, meaning “the son of my sorrow”. What is more, “benoni” occurs in the Bible, in Genesis 35.
And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin. And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

In the sixth game, Fischer played the Queen’s Gambit Declined. This is interesting for three reasons. First, it happens to draw attention ahead of time to The Queen’s Gambit (2020), the story of Beth Harmon. Second, Fischer had never played the Queen’s Gambit in a serious match before. This opening is something that he had previously publicly trashed. Third, the Tartakower line of the Queen’s Gambit Declined is Spassky’s favourite. It is a line that Spassky has never lost in a chess tournament or match. Maybe, Fischer played it for this reason.
Fischer won the 21 game 1972 match by 12.5 points to 8.5 points.
This victory was a turning point for the USA in the Cold War.
You might say, Bobby Fischer winning 1972 was equivalent to Albert Einstein, who was also a Jew, realising E=MC^2 when he did. The equation E=MC^2 in the field of physics made possible the nuclear bomb, what the Bible describes as God’s weapon at the time of the end. Therefore, E=MC^2 was meant to be understood by mankind before the end.
At the appointed time, the USA will become the prophesied eighth kingdom of Satan, a profoundly evil place that will shed the blood of many.
To be saved, every Jew who now resides in the USA must come out of her.
Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of the wine; therefore the nations are mad… We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

Bobby Fischer was one person, a Jew by birthright, who forsook the USA.
My people [God’s people, ie Jews], go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Unfortunately, his anti-Semitism and his pseudo-Christianity, the result of demons, might be counted against him.

If you are a Jew in America, leave now!
If you are not of fighting age, and cannot contribute to the Israel Defence Forces, do not go to Israel (ref. Luke 21:21). Find temporary refuge somewhere, far away from Muslims and Satanists, until Armageddon is over.
In due course, the world as it is today, led by America and terrorised by Islamists, will come to an end.
