Protests in Yerevan erupt after Armenia capitulates and so a ceasefire deal is reached

Thousands in Armenia take to the streets demanding the resignation of prime minister Nikol Pashinyan (ref. 1, 2), after Armenians in Artsakh, aka Nagorno-Karabakh, basically capitulated to Azerbaijan, and began to lay down their arms (ref. 3). This was no mere ceasefire. This was a complete surrender. Protesters in Yerevan smashed the windows of government buildings and clashed with police, calling Pashinyan a “coward” for not resisting Azerbaijani aggression.

Telegraph on protests in Yerevan after the ceasefire deal

Two days of fighting has seen 32 killed and more than 200 wounded. There has also been significant damage to the city of Stepanakert.

So, for now, Azerbaijan has won. Bear in mind, the last time Armenian Christians were under the yoke of Turkic Muslims, there was a genocide.

Notice, from a military standpoint, the USA did not help Armenia at all, despite Pashinyan’s vision of a new alliance. Nor for that matter did the USA do anything to alleviate Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor that brought about a humanitarian crisis for many Armenians these last few months (ref. 4). This is because America’s objective has long been to make the entire world Islamic!

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
