On Servant (2019-2023), the war between Leanne Grayson and the “Church of the Lesser Saints”, and William Blake’s poem Tyger

“Do you know who you welcomed into your home?”

Thus begins the first trailer of M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant (2019-2023).

Servant (2019-2023), season 1

We are then introduced to the main character “Leanne Grayson”, the daughter of “Stephen” and “Laura”, as in “stephanos” or a crown of victory, and “laurel” symbolising “victory”.

For those who don’t know, my name is Stephen Lian. I am the servant, “O Israel”, in Isaiah 49, the first of my kind in these last days: a saint, or put another way, a soldier of Christ and a weapon of God.

And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Isaiah 49:3

And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

Isaiah 49:2

My Chinese name is 练伟光. 伟光 means great light. 练 lian, my surname, a Chinese word, is pronounced more or less like Leanne.

Gray is probably a reference to the colour of this website.

For those who are wondering about the male-female issue, that has to do with the biblical metaphors of “the marriage of the Lamb”, and “the bride of Christ”. Every saint is a man, all of the 144000 of the 12 tribes of Jacob. A saint before he is transformed into a star-like being is described as “hagion”, masculine for “holy ones”; and a saint after he is transformed is described as “hagios”, feminine for “holy ones”.

Servant (2019-2023) is a work of fiction from the other side. Demons putting ideas into the heads of writers. Remember, the term angel comes from the Greek angelos which means messenger, and a demon is an angel in rebellion against God. So, putting ideas into someone’s mind is something that demons can do.

Basically, this show and others like it are attempts to malign me. Often information is expressed through an allegory or a metaphor of some kind. Not all of the story is about me, of course. There are things in the story for the sake of the story. But when the story does allude to me, there are some truths here and there, aspects of my past and therefore presumably of my future as well. (Demons can time travel.) At the same time, there are also exaggerations and even outright lies.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness…

Isaiah 5:20
Evolution of Servant

The purpose, I suppose, is to slag and undermine me, so that the work that I am to do for God might fail.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isaiah 49:6

I did wonder if it would be better to not draw attention to this sort of thing.

Anyway, I have found a twist, something that I must point out. The Bible prophesies that the saints that do take the side of Satan are deceived by lies and they spread the same lies. For this reason, they will be blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life, and so some of them will die and others will be kept out of the new Jerusalem (ref. Revelation 21:27). The saints that are kept out are destined to become stars that wander in outer space forever. This is my latest discovery.

Before I get to that, let’s look at Servant (2019-2023), because to some extent this is an own goal from the other side. First, this show features the ideas of the saints, God in heaven, the angel Lucifer, and the end of the world. Today, few, if any Christians, understand what a “saint” is. This show also confirms what I have said about Isaiah 41:25.

I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.

Isaiah 41:25

The second half of Isaiah 41:25 that begins with “from the rising of the sun” is not the Son of man Jesus Christ, but rather a saint of Jesus Christ from the east, namely me, the same as the ravenous bird from the east in Isaiah 46.

Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Isaiah 46:11

Now, the phrase “as the potter treadeth clay” in Isaiah 41:25 brings to mind God-like power, because God is the potter, and humans and also angels are clay.

… O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Isaiah 64:8

For sure, the God-like power in question is the morning star, something that will be given to all the saints in varying quantities.

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star.

Revelation 2:26-28

… for one star differeth from another star in glory.

1 Corinthians 15:41

Remember, Jesus Christ has described himself as the bright and morning star. So, to some extent, every saint will have God-like power.

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Revelation 22:16

But the story of Servant (2019-2023) takes things further. In fact, it crosses the very line that a saint is not to cross.

Yes, a saint will be a god, small g, just as an angel was meant to be a god, small g.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

Psalms 82:1

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes [fallen angels]. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Psalms 82:6-8

But a saint is most certainly not equivalent to the most high God, Jesus Christ, or even anywhere near him in power.

What I am talking about is the ability to resurrect, and the ability to create new life, which are things that only God the Father and the firstbegotten Son of God can do.

In the story, Leanne not only appears to bring the baby doll to life more than once, but she also appears to resurrect the dog that was beaten to death, and another character named Julian.

I say appears, because in fact the baby is still merely a doll. What she is doing is making others around her think that the doll has become a baby. As I have said, putting thoughts into one’s head is something that angels can do. Presumably, saints will be able to do this as well.

The breath of life, however, is unique to Jesus Christ, because he is the creator, the source of all life, and the most high God.

Angels and even saints are altogether different from Jesus Christ.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hebrews 1:5-6

Because of course, if Leanne could actually breathe life into the doll, then she would be equal to Jesus Christ.

In fact, in these last days before the day of the LORD, the Assyrian and the false prophet will attempt to deceive the world on this very issue. They will trick many into thinking that they have the power to bring a molten statue to life. But the Bible warns that there is no breath or actual life in the image.

Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

Jeremiah 10:14-15

The Assyrian and the false prophet will deceive the unsaved into believing that they, and by extension the angel Lucifer, are just like the most high God.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Isaiah 14:13-14

It is precisely this transgression – this “sin” of wanting to be equal to God – that caused the angel Lucifer to fall.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Isaiah 14:12

In the finale of Servant (2019-2023), the character Leanne Grayson is likewise described as “fallen”. But in Bible prophecy, there is no such thing as another Satan, or another adversary of God along the lines of the Devil.

In the story of Servant (2019-2023), Leanne defies God, gives up, and ultimately burns in fire. She commits suicide because no one on earth can kill her.

The no one can kill her part is probably true. After all, there is to be one among the saints that is the most powerful. Only God the Father and Jesus Christ will be above this saint. By power, I mean combat power rather than political authority. As far as political authority goes, there’s God the Father, then Jesus Christ, then the 24 elders, which probably includes the 12 apostles, who are to judge the 12 tribes of Jacob. Others such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses, and so on, will also probably be among the 24 elders. A saint is someone within 1 of the 12 tribes.

Now, in Servant (2019-2023), Leanne is meant to be a saint of God, because she is at war against the “Church of the Lesser Saints”. If her enemies are “lesser” saints, then she has to be a saint that is stronger than them.

This is the position of “the waster” in Isaiah 54, the one that is to protect the army from treachery and backstabbing and that sort of thing. Think internal affairs, or better yet, military police.

Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

Isaiah 54:15-16

You see, for Satan to achieve what he wants, he must first defeat the waster.

This idea of the waster versus rebellious saints is everywhere nowadays.

Servant (2019-2023) season 3

It is in John Wick 2 (2017) – “You have no idea what is coming”. However, on this point, John Wick 2 confuses north and east, something made right in John Wick 4 (2023). Isaiah 46:11 reads, the ravenous bird from the east, and Isaiah 41:25 mentions, the rising of the sun. Next, the name “Wick” alludes to a candle and fire. So, this is definitely a story about conflict between the saints. In this one, however, the main character John Wick is on the side of the Devil. Hence the soundbite, “You stab the Devil in the back”. Isaiah 54:15 says, at first, it will be the Devil’s lot that will come after the saints that are loyal to God, not the other way around. This is because it will be a rebellion much like the Devil’s initial rebellion in heaven.

John Wick Chapter 2 (2017)

The waster versus rebellious saints is also in the trailer of Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning (2023), a movie that I have not seen. What I mean is the soundbite, “The world is coming after you”. Another striking soundbite is, “It knows your story and how it ends”, presumably a reference to the Devil. Again, time travel.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)

There is also Mulan (2020), where we see the notion of a “protector” of the army.

Mulan (2020), powerful

All of the saints that are loyal to Jesus Christ should help each other whenever possible. Conceivably, a loyal saint that dies, if it were to happen, would sit it out in heaven and play no further part on earth. That said, Isaiah 54:15 prophesies that all will be kept alive and in the fight, so that all can enjoy glory when it is over. Besides the army and me, I suppose, God himself in heaven will also do things so that the prophecy stands.

Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Isaiah 54:15

By the way, I am now certain that Mulan (2020) was an attempt to trick me because it makes a big thing about the phoenix, an occult construct. Rebirth from ashes is Satanic wishful thinking, not unlike Hindu reincarnation.

Mulan (2020) also seems to suggest that Jesus Christ, the King of the kingdom of God, is not all powerful and all knowing. By contrast, the Bible reads that no one can deliver out of his hand, and there is no other like him.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel…

Isaiah 43:10-14

God the Father is always with the Son of God.

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

Deuteronomy 32:39-40

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

John 14:6-7

Every creature including the angels and even the most powerful of the saints are like grasshoppers by comparison, easily squished: the LORD brings princes to nothing.

Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: That bringeth the princes [angels and saints] to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Isaiah 40:21-23

The idea that Satan can somehow win this war between good and evil is pure fantasy.

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son [marital fidelity of the bride of Christ, as in loyalty to Jesus Christ], lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Psalms 2:10-12

Returning to the concept of the phoenix, at the end of Servant (2019-2023), once Leanne is burnt to ashes, Julian receives his wings, as if Julian has become a new version of her. Suppose for the moment that Leanne is evil. Accordingly, what the story is trying to suggest is that there can be an evil 2.0, and then after that an evil 3.0, and so on, ad infinitum. In one scene, Leanne is described as a “warrior queen”. This is an allusion to the fact that Lucifer, the first of the angels, was meant to be “the queen of heaven”, as in the original bride of Christ. Since his fall, the expression “queen of heaven” brings to mind evil (ref. Jeremiah 7:18, etc).

By the way, notice the name Lian in Ju-lian. Also, the Leanne with Julian thing is an allusion to Nobody (2021), because “Yulian” is Russian for Julian.

Nobody (2021)

For those who don’t know, I should say here, every saint must be single, and every saint must never have married, and every saint must abstain from “fornication” (ref. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-6), which means sex out of wedlock.

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Revelation 14:4

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-6

The word the Bible uses is “virgin” (ref. Revelation 14:4, Isaiah 54:1, Jeremiah 31:13). Presumably, you must have no significant other and no dependants, so that you might become the perfect soldier for God in time to come (ref. 2 Timothy 2:4), always dedicated to the work that you are to do.

Now, moving on to the poem Tyger by William Blake.

When I first came across this poem, I was astonished. William Blake was born in the year 1757 and he died in the year 1827. 57 reversed is 75, as in 1975. And 27 reversed is 7 February. 7 February 1975, my birth date, occurs in the Chinese New Year of the Wood Tiger. This matches Tyger, which is “burning bright, in the forests of the night”.

William Blake’s Tyger

In Tyger, there is one stanza about space.

“When the stars threw down their spears
And water’d heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?”

This stanza prompted me to think that after the war of Gog and Magog, either I myself or I and some of the other saints are to give chase, to capture the rebels and kill them. My thinking was, those that chose the wrong side – ie. those that are damned – must die.

However, since then, I have discovered the following in the Bible, “wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.”

Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Jude 1:13

When the planet earth is burnt up by the sun, Jesus Christ will create a new Jerusalem, and this new Jerusalem will have “gates” and “walls” (ref. Revelation 21). If this city has gates and walls, then it must be for the purpose of keeping certain individuals out. In fact, Revelation 21:27 says as much.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 21:27

This notion of keeping the wicked out and making them wander in darkness forever explains the 3 passages in the Bible, in Matthew, that read “outer darkness”.

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom [some number of the 144000 saints that are disloyal] shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 8:11-12

And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? [lack of oil; unprepared bride of Christ] And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Matthew 22:12-14

His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant [presumably one of the Devil’s saints that did not do any work for Christ], thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:26-30

“Outer darkness” must have something to do with the saints, rather than with humans or angels. The reason is, when God creates the new heavenly city, the planet earth will have been consumed by the sun, and the damned will have been destroyed in the lake of fire. By this time, all of the saved will have new incorruptible bodies. Because there are no more human beings or flesh and blood around, and because fallen angels cannot escape the earth’s magnetic field, at this point there is no other life in the entire universe to keep out of the heavenly city, except for the “wandering stars”.

Therefore, these must be the saints that chose the wrong side in the war of Gog and Magog, and that fled to outer space after the battle was lost, and after Gog himself, the chief prince or leading saint of Meshech and Tubal, was killed (ref. Ezekiel 39:11).

So, the thing is, it might not be necessary to give chase and to catch them all, certainly not beyond sight of the planet earth. Those rebellious saints that manage to escape will become “wandering stars”, flying in the emptiness and darkness of space forever. Conceivably, it will be a punishment worse than death. Because outer space is immeasurable. The Milky Way galaxy alone is huge. Beyond that, there is far more.

Indeed, it is God who stretched out the heavens this way, perhaps precisely for this reason.

Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out…

Isaiah 42:5

So, the poem Tyger was an attempt to deceive me.

Apparently, the other side knew that I would figure out the space thing eventually through the Bible. So, they put aspects of this in the show Servant (2019-2023). In one scene, Julian asks the lifeless doll mockingly while looking at the camera, “Who wants to go to space? You do!” In another scene, Leanne paints her face as a tiger but it is incomplete, presumably meaning she is tricked into the idea of a tiger but then she does not go all the way with it.

Still, it is quite bizarre that the actress who played Leanne in real life is named “Nell Tiger Free”, as in free of the tiger.

Equally puzzling is the name “Christina Aguilera” who sings the soundtrack of Mulan (2020), the song “Loyal Brave True”. Christina means “follower of Christ”, and Aguilera means “eagle’s nest”. An eagle is a metaphor of saint: “wings as eagles” (ref. Isaiah 40:31).

Loyal Brave True song

Anyway, the dubious part in the song “Loyal Brave True” that now stands out is the suggestion that in these last days a saint can trust dreams to be messages from heaven, per Psalms 77:6 and Psalms 4:4-5.

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Psalms 77:6

Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

Psalms 4:4-5

The dream thing must be a lie, because unlike the days of Asaph and David, today there are millions of demons roaming about, and any one of them might mess with your mind while you sleep.

There are a lot of lies going around, directed at the saints. Remember, Satan is the greatest liar of all (ref. John 8:44). Deception is his forte.

Revelation 22:14-15 and Revelation 21:27 can only apply to saints: the wandering stars idea. Notice, both passages include the word “lie”.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Revelation 22:14-15

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 21:27

This means, fallen saints have something to do with lies.

Now, I know that the Devil is already working to usurp some of the saints.

The lyrics of Fleurie’s song Soldier is a give away.

Fleurie Soldier

But the Devil’s plan is also clear from Isaiah 14:13.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God…

Isaiah 14:13

An angel above a saint, ie. a star of God, is comparable to a snake slithering in the dust somehow telling a human being what to do. Of course, the human is in a position to kill the snake at any time using a shovel or something like that. The snake can only have power over a human by deceiving that human.

The idea in Servant (2019-2023) that I turn evil and fall, or commit suicide, or whatever, is wishful thinking on the part of Satan.

Servant (2019-2023) Season 4

Actually, I will win this thing.

The Bible prophesies that I win.

It is the will of God that once I am born again, I last unto the end of the earth, the moment the sun burns up the planet.

… I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isaiah 49:6

After that, everything has been decided and there is no one else to save, and furthermore at that time Jesus Christ himself will be the light of the world, metaphorically and literally.

Isaiah 49:6 alone means I win.
