The queen of heaven versus the bride of Christ

Did you know that the Devil was the first angel?

Jesus Christ was begotten of God the Father, and so he is the Son of God, “the firstborn of every creature” (ref. Colossians 1:15). In turn, Jesus Christ created everything and all life (ref. Colossians 1:16) – of course mankind on earth, but also the angels of heaven.

Among the angels of heaven, my guess is, the first that was ever created was Lucifer.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! …

Isaiah 14:12

Isaiah 14:12 tells that the angel Lucifer, meaning “the bearer of light”, was in a way a son of Jesus Christ, who is the morning star. This is what is meant by the expression “son of the morning”.

Just as Eve, from whom the word evil comes, was the second created of mankind, Lucifer was technically the second living being ever created.

Presumably, Lucifer was the “anointed cherub” of Ezekiel 28, the one in Eden. If so, a number of precious stones covered him (ref. Ezekiel 28:13), and he was also made with tabrets and pipes (ref. Ezekiel 28:13), meaning music was something that he was good at.

He was an angel of God, until he became corrupted by pride, by envy, and by the wisdom that he had acquired from the forbidden fruit of Eden.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Ezekiel 28:14-15

His fall from grace turned him into the adversary of God, in Hebrew literally “Satan”.

His beguiling of “Eve” in Eden while in the form of a serpent, also known as a “dragon”, which began the phenomena of “evil”, cursed him and all who take his side to have their heads in the dirt, eating dust (ref. Genesis 3:14).

In the movie Alien Covenant (2017), the android who took the name David, the first of his kind created by Peter Weyland is meant to represent the angel Lucifer. Notice in his conversation with his creator, while in a spacious white room with a picture of The Nativity, with a chair evoking a throne, with a statue of Michelangelo’s David, with a view of mountains, and with a piano with which he plays Wagner’s “The entry of the gods into Valhalla”, a favourite among Nazis, there is resentment that he, the immortal android, was made to serve his human master, presumably a reference to the Son of man.

Alien Covenant (2017) opening scene

This is the same movie that contains Percy Shelley’s poem about the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, which foretells Babylon’s modern-day bioweapon the virus Sars-Cov-2: “Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”

Make no mistake, Lucifer despises God and wants to destroy all of his creation, everything, in any possible way.

Now, many know that angels were created to serve God as messengers. After all, the word “angel” comes from the Greek word angelos which means “messenger”. Angels were also created to sing praises to God and to play music. I am sure you have heard the hymns “Hark, the herald angels sing”, and “Les anges dans nos campagnes”, which tell of angels announcing the birth of the Son of man, and the eventual liberation of Israel.

But few realise that angels also serve the kingdom of heaven as soldiers of an army (ref. Revelation 19:14, Psalms 148:2).

Shortly before the time of the end, this army splits into two, and war breaks out in heaven.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Revelation 12:7-8

One third take the side of Satan, also known as Lucifer; and two thirds take the side of the archangel Michael, the captain of the part of the army that remains loyal to God (ref. Revelation 12:7-12).

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven [one third of the army of angels in heaven], and did cast them to the earth…

Revelation 12:3-4

Some of the third that fell might have taken Lucifer’s side for the simple fact that he was the eldest of the angels, the firstborn among angels.

Because of the way humans perceive time, this civil war in heaven has led to “demons” or “fallen angels” in the distant past being described as “the host of heaven”.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father destroyed; and he reared up the altars of Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

2 Kings 21:2-3

If you don’t realise that demons are “soldiers”, waging a war of rebellion against God, listen to the 2020 song “Soldiers” by Neoni and Fjora, the same music artists of the 2019 song “Demons”.

Neoni and Fjora’s Soldiers

“Rushing forward, raise the gates
And usher in the madness
Catch our breath as they descend
Together in the darkness
We can stand our ground
Stand our ground
We stand our ground
It’s what we’ve waited for

We’re soldiers
Marching on
Survivors
Standing strong
To the ends of the earth
At the edge of the world.”

These soldiers are “marching on”, spreading “madness” and “darkness”, until “the ends of the earth”.

The host of heaven was created to serve God, to be second in the hierarchy of things like a queen standing next to a king.

This brings me to the phrase “the queen of heaven”, in Jeremiah 44 and 7.

Because of Satan’s treachery, the queen of heaven now refers to angels that are in rebellion against God: angels that have taken Satan’s side, all pretending to be “gods” of various religions, and receiving worship from humans.

Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place…

Jeremiah 7:17-20

In Talmudic Judaism and some American evangelical churches, the expression “Shekinah Glory” is said to mean God the Father, yet it is grammatically feminine, thereby implying that God is a woman and a queen.

In Roman Catholicism, Mary the mother of the Son of man is often exalted and revered alongside Jesus Christ, as if she were a queen.

In ancient Egypt, Isis is said to be the goddess that transcended all others. The same was known as Ishtar to the ancient Assyrians. And to the Romans, she was Libertas, as in the Sons of Liberty and even America’s Statue of Liberty. It is not for nothing that the American music idol Rihanna has the goddess Isis complete with wings tattooed on her torso. ISIS also happens to be an acronym of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, a phenomenon that began in 2014, that subsequently received a “deadly wound” (ref. Revelation 13:3), and something that will rise again soon to form the empire of the Assyrian, the rider of the horse of the fourth seal of the apocalypse.

These three – Shekinah Glory, a Mary that reigns alongside Jesus Christ, and the occult goddess Isis – are manifestations of the idea of the queen of heaven, a reference to Satan and his rebels, or else Satan himself.

Now, the rebellion in heaven against God, which led to the problem of evil here on earth, has prompted need for the formation of a new army. This new army of God, which will be created by Jesus Christ on the day of the LORD, is none other than the saints, the “holy ones” of Jacob, otherwise known as the second “bride of Christ”.

I used to think that the bride of Christ would be all Christians collectively. Now, I regard that particular bride to be the third and final one. The second and next bride of Christ will be the saints of Israel, the new troops of God, clothed in fine linen and white.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.

Revelation 19:7-8

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God [ref. John 1:1]. And the armies [angels and saints] which were in heaven followed him up white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Revelation 19:13-15

So, the queen of heaven was the old army of heaven, or at least one third of that army, which today comprises of demons. And the next bride of Christ will be a new army of saints, the born again soldiers of Jesus Christ that I have been talking about over these last few days.
