Today, at the United Nations International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, South Africa commenced its case formally accusing the nation of Israel of committing genocide in Gaza (ref. 1).
Israel, choosing to defend itself at the ICJ rather than ignore the case, rejected the accusation and said South Africa has taken on the role of the Devil’s advocate by defending Hamas which started this war on October 7, slaughtering and also kidnapping soldiers and civilians alike, including the old and the very young (ref. 1).
Though not actually applicable here, Isaiah 54:17 is worth bringing up, particularly the part that goes, “Every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.”
… every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Isaiah 54:17
Strictly speaking, Isaiah 54:17 is for the saints as in the 144000 soldiers of the kingdom of God. Nevertheless, the “thou shalt condemn” part is noteworthy.
You might think that the word condemn in “thou shalt condemn” means merely criticise, or something like that. According to Strong’s 7561, condemn means: “to deal with or account as wicked”. In the New Shorter Oxford English Dictionary, two noteworthy definitions of condemn are “consign to perdition” and “damn to hell”.
So, in time, quite likely, South Africa will be made to suffer for this, by a saint or an angel of God. It might even be a collective punishment. After all, the people of South Africa democratically elected the government that brought this about.
I should also remind that the Zulus, at the time of the Anglo-Zulu wars in the 19th century, were a people that worshipped demons, i.e. angels in rebellion against God. What is more, Nelson Mandela, highly esteemed by modern-day South Africa, was actually on America’s terror watch list before he entered politics. Mandela founded the ANC’s armed wing that assumed a Zulu identity and waged a guerrilla war against the government of South Africa. Subsequently, Mandela was imprisoned by the authorities. This Zulu link explains why, post-apartheid South Africa has long chosen to side with the Palestinians rather than with Israel.
As for the ICJ, I have already said that at some point in the not too distant future, the UN itself will be no more, meaning the headquarters, its funding, and even the need for such an organisation will all disappear.
