Last Sunday, around 1 pm local time, US Airman Aaron Bushnell, who was an active-duty cyberdefence operations specialist with the 531st Intelligence Support Squadron at a base in Texas, walked in front of Israel’s embassy in Washington DC dressed in combat fatigues, and poured some sort of flammable liquid all over himself before setting himself on fire. Somehow he livestreamed his self immolation on Twitch. Before starting the fire, he said this: “I will no longer be complicit in genocide. I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest.” And while he was burning, he yelled out, “Free Palestine” (ref. 1). Though the fire was extinguished, he sustained serious injuries and later died.
In December last year, a woman also lit herself on fire outside an Israeli consulate in Atlanta while wrapped in a Palestinian flag (ref. 2). She was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but she survived.
What is remarkable about Aaron Bushnell’s self immolation and protest against Israel is that on that same Sunday, several bushfires (or wildfires as Americans call it) broke out and raged across Texas and Colorado, all fuelled by howling winds and extreme heat.
One particular bushfire, the West Monument Creek fire, even started around 1 pm local time, and not far from the US Air Force Academy in Colorado (ref. 3).
In Texas, so far, some 250000 acres have been scorched. Currently, there are 4 major bushfires still burning out of control. The largest of these fires, the Smokehouse Creek fire, quadrupled in size in less than 24 hours. Notice the repetition of the number 4. Locals say, “it looks like Armageddon” (ref. 4).
About the number 4, around the time of the 4th trumpet and vial, an angel of the LORD will scorch certain parts of the earth with heat and fire. So, bushfires fuelled by winds and extreme heat are a thing that angels can do.
And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Revelation 16:8
Something else to notice is that America’s main nuclear weapons assembly facility, which is in Texas, has been forced to shut down pending further notice because of these bushfires (ref. 5).
Can all this be a strange coincidence? Or are these bushfires a sign from heaven regarding the protest of Aaron Bushnell?
… and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luke 21:11
As I see it, Aaron Bushnell burnt himself to further the cause of Satan. He sought to grab the attention of the world in a bizarre way and convince the wider public, or at least his fellow American soldiers, that one should stand with the Palestinians rather than with Israel.
The Bible is clear that all who side with Islam and the Assyrian in the coming world war are destined for hell, and at the time of the second death they will burn in the lake of fire.
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him…
Revelation 6:7-8
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 20:14
Hell is said to follow the Assyrian, because all who pledge allegiance to him, or fight in combat for him, in these last days, will be sent there.
Fear, and the pit [hell], and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
Isaiah 24:17-18
The Bible is also clear that the Palestinians are finished as a people (ref. Zephaniah 2:4-7, Ezekiel 25:15-17). On the day of the LORD, Gaza will be utterly destroyed, and no Palestinian will be spared. Their pets also will be killed (ref. Zephaniah 1:3). All of this will be done by the angels and the saints of God. The land will then be inhabited by the remnant of the house of Judah, ie. human Jews.
For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah…
Zephaniah 2:4-7
This annihilation when it comes will be done in such a way that the Palestinians will know that they are facing the wrath of Almighty God. This is the famous verse Ezekiel 25:17.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred; Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
Ezekiel 25:15-16
And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
Ezekiel 25:17
I am not sure how an angel will kill someone on the day of the LORD (ref. Matthew 13:41), but a saint will do it using fire (ref. Zechariah 14:12).
And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Zechariah 14:12
Fire is the ultimate weapon of God, because all flesh on earth succumbs to fire!
Death by fire also reminds of the punishment of the lake of fire.
Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
Isaiah 24:15
Besides all that, when away from heaven, Jesus Christ himself is essentially fire.
And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
