Jesus Christ, the mighty One of Jacob, will be the Saviour and the Redeemer of Israel

The question of Jews and Jesus Christ has become topical.

Few Christians today understand what is the kingdom of God. All know about life in heaven after death, and most know about the new Jerusalem in the distant future, and many have been told that Israel is a key part of the end times, but almost nobody sees the entire picture and how every piece fits into place. One thing that confuses many is the matter of Israel and salvation: how is Israel saved? Today, everyone assumes that Jews and Gentiles are “saved” the same way. Protestants say, one must hear the preaching of a pastor, and come to believe that Jesus Christ is God. Catholics, however, insist on attending mass and receiving the Eucharist. Despite their differences, both Protestants and Catholics are of the view that Jews and Gentiles are saved through the church, or at least through their particular version. But the Bible says something else. This is clear only if one understands what the gospel is. In these last days, all of Christendom has fallen away from the truth (ref. 2 Thessalonians 2:3). So, today, there is very little light (ref. Isaiah 60:2).

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people…

Isaiah 60:2

From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

Isaiah 24:16

For those who don’t know, the gospel properly expressed is the gospel of the kingdom of God (ref. Mark 1:14-15).

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Mark 1:14-15

The kingdom of God will be a country, centred at Jerusalem. This kingdom will be established in one day (ref. Isaiah 66:7-8), “the day of the LORD”.

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child [the Son of man Jesus Christ]. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Isaiah 66:7-8

On that one day, all of the promised land will be conquered and made holy, everything from the river Egypt to the river Euphrates. The kingdom of God is the good news, because it is through this kingdom that God will recover the world from Satan. Once it is established, the kingdom of God will go on forever. It will be a “world without end” because God is Almighty.

Like every other kingdom, the kingdom of God will have a king, an army, and a people.

The king, of course, will be the Son of man Jesus Christ.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 9:6-7

Jesus Christ is of the line of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and he is a descendant of David. There are 14 generations from Abraham to David; there is another 14 from David to the Babylonian captivity; and there is yet another 14 from the Babylonian captivity to the Son of man Jesus Christ (ref. Matthew 1:17).

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Luke 1:30-33

Jesus is not only “the mighty One of Jacob”, the prophesied Messiah of Israel, but when he is in heaven, he is technically also God the Father, the LORD (whom Jews call HaShem). The reason is, God the Father exists beyond both earth and heaven.

… all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 49:26

As for Jesus being the “Saviour” and the “Redeemer” of Jews, I will come back to that.

Now, one of the armies of the kingdom of God will be the angels that are still loyal to God. Another army will be the 144000 saints, 12000 of each of the 12 tribes of Jacob, aka Israel. A saint will be a new creature of the creator Jesus Christ. A saint will be a star-like being that will wield the power of fire. Once a saint is changed, no human or demon will be able to kill that saint. The saints is a topic that I have gone on about quite extensively now, because this is the task that I have been given (ref. Isaiah 49:6).

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob [the 12 tribes], and to restore the preserved of Israel [the 144000]…

Isaiah 49:6

So, I have covered the king and his armies. That leaves the people of the kingdom.

The people of the kingdom of God will be mostly human Jews, a remnant of Judah. A Jew (Yehudi) is a descendant of the tribe of Judah (Yehuda).

The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.

Isaiah 10:21

And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed [eat food, so humans] thereupon…

Zephaniah 2:7

There will be some of the tribe of Levi among the humans (ref. Isaiah 66:21).

And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 66:21

And there will be some others as well: descendants of Ishmael currently living in a section of Egypt (ref. Isaiah 19:25), and also another nondescript people who have been afflicted and poor (ref. Zephaniah 3:12). I think, everyone must be related in some way to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

But, among the humans, mostly it will be Judah, because Judah is tribe of the Son of man Jesus Christ (ref. Revelation 5:5).

… behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Revelation 5:5

It is this that explains why the Devil hates Jews!

Now, it must be said, just as there are fake Christians, there are fake Jews: heretics as far as the Torah goes, unholy mystics such as Kabbalists, and even treacherous types claiming to be Jews (ref. Revelation 2:9). For instance, there is the Neturei Karta, an anti-Zionist group of Jews that would rather side with the Palestinians and Islamists than with the state of Israel.

On the question of Jewishness, there is another issue. At some point and for a long while, rabbis established a Misnah that a Jew is someone whose mother is Jewish by race and culture.

But in the Bible, it has always been the bloodline of the father that makes one a Jew, not the bloodline of the mother. Joseph married an Egyptian, Asenath (ref. Genesis 41:45), yet his sons Manasseh and Ephraim were considered Jews. Moses married a Midianite, Zipporah (ref. Exodus 2:21), yet his sons Gershom and Eliezer were considered Jews. For that matter, David married Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite (ref. 2 Samuel 11:3-27), and Ruth was a Moabite (ref. Ruth 1:4) who married Boaz, a Jew. You see, always, it is the father’s bloodline that counts.

When an ancient Israelite man or a Jewish man marries a foreigner, and she turns his heart away from the LORD, the Bible describes that woman as a strange wife. Solomon, for example, had many “strange wives”.

For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

1 Kings 11:4-8

Fortunately, many Jews today descend from parents where both the father and the mother are Jews. Some decades ago, there was also a reform to at least include patrilineality since the Bible is patrilineal.

Now, who precisely are among the holy remnant of Judah is a secret. Except for God himself and his angels, nobody knows.

So, the bloodline of Judah matters more than the religion of Judaism. This is implied in Joel 3, where the Bible prophesies that the LORD will cleanse the blood of Judah.

… Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.

Joel 3:20-21

Likewise, in Isaiah 4, the Bible prophesies that the Lord will purge the blood of Jerusalem, and wash away the filth of the daughters of Zion. Again, there is this concept of a correct bloodline of Judah.

And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isaiah 4:3-4

By the way, this explains why Hitler, a servant of the Devil, was so focused on the Jewish race. He sought to kill the religious as well as the secular. If he had not been stopped, he would have killed every Jew.

Now, the question of salvation. How will a Jew be saved?

As I have said, a Christian typically assumes that it is he or some church that must convert a Jew over to Christianity, and thus it is he or some church that will save that Jew. Nothing can be further from the truth.

The Bible is clear that the “Saviour” of Israel will be Jesus Christ himself.

A church that is in apostasy and that is ignorant of the kingdom of God cannot possibly save anyone, let alone a Jew. I have heard an American so-called Messianic Jew say that he is looking forward to being in heaven after the rapture. I have heard an American Gentile claim that he is the new Israel, a Jew in his circumcised heart, taking Romans 2 out of context. No one seems to know what they are talking about.

I suppose there is nothing wrong with a Jew enquiring about Jesus Christ, and learning the history of the Son of man from an evangelist. But a Jew must be careful not to be sucked into the false doctrines of today’s churches.

Have you ever wondered why is it that American Christians always ignore the likes of Revelation 18:4 and Jeremiah 51:45? The phrase “my people” refers to God’s people because the person speaking is God. Who are the people of God if not the Jews, the tribe of Judah? If it is all about becoming Christian and going to heaven, why does the Bible call on God’s people to come out of Babylon?

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Revelation 18:4

Why for that matter must the people of God deliver their own souls from the wrath of God?

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Jeremiah 51:44-45

The answer is that in these last days, a Jew must escape, evade and endure unto the end in order to be saved!

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mark 13:13

So, Jews should be careful of Christian churches. In my opinion, every denomination of Christianity is now in apostasy.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:5

However, do listen to the 2 witnesses, Elijah and John, when they get here. They will be anointed, so they will speak the very words of God.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Malachi 4:5-6

Once God completes his “marvellous work” in these last days, the Holy Spirit will be poured out to all living Jews (ref. Joel 2:28-29, Zechariah 12:10).

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joel 2:28-29

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Zechariah 12:10

It is through the grace of God that Judah will be saved.

Remember, Ephesians reads that we are all saved by grace, Gentiles and Jews alike. It is a gift of God, lest any man should boast.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For Christians, this grace has often been in the form of the Bible, or the preaching of a good pastor.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? …

Romans 10:13-15

Jews, however, have been spiritually blinded, at least in part. The same sort of goes for Israel, as in the saints of the 12 tribes of Jacob.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Romans 11:25

Jews receiving God’s Holy Spirit, which will happen before the day of the LORD but after God’s marvellous work has been completed, is the very means by which their blindness will be reversed.

And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men [rabbis, the Talmud] shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid… And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel… Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob [Jesus Christ], and shall fear the God of Israel. They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Isaiah 29:11-24

Once a Jew becomes holy, he or she will know everything. This is what the Bible means by the “new covenant” between God and Israel. The new covenant has nothing to do with Christians generally. It is entirely about Jacob, and specifically Judah.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Jeremiah 31:31-34

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Isaiah 59:20-21

Incidentally, the sin or transgression of Jacob in Jeremiah 31 and Isaiah 59 has nothing to do with Jews rejecting the Son of man Jesus Christ at the time of his First Coming. Rather, it was Israel’s and Judah’s breaking of the First Commandment of God, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (ref. Exodus 20:3, Deuteronomy 5:7). Moses himself predicted that at some point the descendants of Jacob would turn away from God and worship angels instead (ref. Deuteronomy 31:29).

For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

Deuteronomy 31:29

Now, since Jesus Christ is one with the Holy Spirit and also God the Father, it follows that the salvation of a Jew will come directly from Jesus Christ himself. In other words, the Messiah of Israel will be the Saviour.

… when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son [the Holy Spirit] into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Galatians 4:4-6

In regard to salvation, there is yet another meaning. In these last days, when the Devil is trying to kill as many Jews as possible, saving the elect of Judah also means militarily defeating the Devil.

For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved [salvation]: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Mark 13:19-20

Once again, this comes down to Jesus Christ, who is the LORD of hosts, and also the Prince of princes – in other words, the God of angels.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 59:19

As the LORD of hosts, Jesus Christ can even make the Devil in effect punch himself in the face.

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me. Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know. Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail. Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame…

Isaiah 47:10-14

Furthermore, Jesus Christ will also command the army of the 144000 saints, a new thing.

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King… Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?…

Isaiah 43:15-19

So all of that was about salvation, or the idea of Jesus Christ as “the Saviour”.

Now to the concept of redemption, or the idea of Jesus Christ as “the Redeemer”.

Jesus Christ will redeem Israel, as in a remnant of the tribes of Jacob that were scattered by ancient Assyria, and he will also redeem a remnant of Judah to live on as humans, from generation to generation. Technically, both Israel and Judah will be redeemed by God from the grip of Satan.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Psalms 25:22

For the saints, redemption will involve either resurrection or translation.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Having predestinated us [saints] unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood [Jesus Christ as the Redeemer]…

Ephesians 1:5-7

For the humans of Judah, or at least for some of them, redemption might mean literally being set free from a prison (ref. Isaiah 49:22-26).

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me [the Son of man Jesus Christ read some of this scripture in his day]; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives [Jesus Christ as the Redeemer], and the opening of the prison to them that are bound [again, the idea of Jesus Christ as the Redeemer]; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes [Israel’s baptism of fire], the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness [the holy remnant of human Jews], the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Isaiah 61:1-3

On the redemption of Jews, which will happen on the day of the LORD, there is also Luke 21:27-28’s look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21:27-28

So, this is what it means that Jesus Christ, the mighty One of Jacob, will be the Saviour and the Redeemer of Israel.

and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 60:16
