ISIS gunmen storm a concert hall in Moscow, killing 40 and injuring 145

In scenes reminiscent of the 2015 Paris Bataclan theatre massacre, 4 or 5 gunmen dressed in combat fatigues and armed with assault rifles stormed the Crocus City Hall in Moscow where the Russian band Piknik was due to perform. The gunmen opened fire on the crowd, shooting some individuals at point blank range (ref. 1). They also threw explosives around, which started an inferno. Authorities say, 40 were killed and more than 145 were injured. Children are also among the killed and injured (ref. 1). Hours later, ISIS claimed responsibility on Telegram (ref. 2).

Telegraph on Moscow shooting

Earlier this month, Russia’s FSB neutralised an ISIS cell plotting a terrorist attack on a Moscow synagogue (ref. 3).

Remember also that Russia is still at war against ISIS in parts of Syria.

In other news today, an American UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza has been vetoed by Russia and China (ref. 4). Previously, Russia and China were pushing for a ceasefire in Gaza, and America was the one vetoing. This goes to show that, in this last days, Russia and China will always be on the opposite side of America. For Russia and China are the prophesied kings of the east!

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 59:19
