Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka Russia erupts after a 7.0 earthquake struck nearby in the Pacific

Early Sunday, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck in the Pacific some 63 miles away from Russia’s eastern coast. Because of that, Shiveluch, which translates roughly to “smoking mountain”, a volcano in Kamchatka, erupted, sending ash 8 km into the sky and pouring fiery lava in the area (ref. 1). On Russia’s Kuril islands nearby, the volcano Ebeko also burst ash into the sky. There was a brief tsunami alert because of the earthquake in the Pacific, but no significant damage, and no reported injuries or loss of life.

Guardian on the eruption of Shiveluch

So, there has been an earthquake, and there have been two volcanic eruptions resulting in fiery red lava and two pillars of smoke.

I see this news as a sign from heaven about my last post.

Remember, in my last post, which concerns the name of God the Father, I drew attention to Joel 2:32 – that before the day of the LORD, to be saved, Israel must call upon the name of the LORD, his actual name.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Joel 2:32

I also pointed out that before that moment, God will pour out his Holy Spirit to all of the elect of Israel.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joel 2:28-29

Now, check this out.

In between Joel 2:32 and Joel 2:28-29 are the two verses of Joel 2:30-31. These two verses speak of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that will result in fire, pillars of smoke, and the sky darkened. Essentially, these will be signs or “wonders” from God in heaven, that the day of the LORD approaches.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joel 2:30-31

Something else. In my last post, I said that the saints would receive the name of God before the time of the fifth trumpet and vial, and this would involve an angel ascending from the east.

And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Revelation 7:2-3

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1

This earthquake and the two volcanic eruptions might well have something to do with this angel of the east.

For those who don’t know, Kamchatka is the eastern most part of Russia. Each year between 16 May and 26 September, Russia’s Kamchatka province is said to be the place in the world that sees the sun rise first. On the Eurasian landmass, the eastern most point on the same latitude as Jerusalem is China’s Shanghai, which literally means “above sea”. So, these two things together mean, the two nations of the kings of the east in these last days must be Russia and China. I have been saying precisely this for a while.

Now, consider Isaiah 59:19. This is a verse that mentions both the name of the LORD and the rising of the sun, and it does so in the context of volcanic activity.

The KJV reads: “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.”

According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 59:18-19, KJV

The LSV reads: “And from the west they fear the Name of Yhwh, And from the rising of the sun—His glory”

According to deeds—so He repays. Fury to His adversaries, [their] deed to His enemies, To the islands He repays [their] deed. And from the west they fear the Name of Yhwh, And from the rising of the sun—His glory, When an adversary comes in as a flood, The Spirit of Yhwh has raised an ensign against him.

Isaiah 59:18-19, LSV

The way the LSV has it, they from the west shall fear the name of the LORD, and they from the rising of the sun shall fear his glory.

But, the way the KJV has it, they as in the enemies and adversaries of God that are being punished shall fear the name of the LORD from the west, and furthermore the same shall fear the glory of the LORD from the rising of the sun.

In the past, I read this verse to mean that the west generally is an enemy or adversary of God. But I have always understood the word glory to mean the armies of the east. Looking at it now, it does seem wrong to ignore the obvious parallel. If it is the glory of the LORD from the rising of the sun, then it should be the name of the LORD from the west. If, instead, it is they from the west that will fear the name of the LORD, then it should be they from the rising of the sun that will fear the glory of the LORD.

As for why glory must mean the armies of the east? The answer to that comes down to the fact that Isaiah 59:19 contains two sentences, and the second sentence speaks of armies moved by the Holy Spirit and marching under a specific flag.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 59:19

One can try to read “his glory” to mean the Son of man Jesus Christ, because the very next verse, Isaiah 59:20 speaks of “the Redeemer” that shall come to Zion and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 59:20

Of course, this Redeemer must be Jesus Christ, who will come back to the earth in glory and power from the direction of the east.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:27

But, note that the Son of man will come to Zion from heaven and out of the direction of the east, whereas the armies that the LORD of hosts will move against his enemies will come from the parts of the earth in the far east where the sun rises. To this point, the text does not read, his glory from the direction of the east, but rather “his glory from the rising of the sun”.

Translating the first sentence of Isaiah 59:19 literally word for word from the original Hebrew results in: And they shall fear from west name of LORD and from rising of sun his glory.

With this in mind, it very much seems to be the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.

Having said all that, look now at the very unusual expression, “the name of the LORD from the west”. This begs the question, why not simply fear the LORD? For that matter, why not fear the name of the LORD? Why must it be fear the name of the LORD from the west? Surely there must be some reason for this.

The part that goes “the name of the LORD from the west”, now that I think of it, must refer to “Jehovah”, which is a Latin transliteration of “Yehovah”: יהוה‎ spelt with the vowels Sheva, Cholam, Kamatz.

It could be argued that this passage in Isaiah 59 refers to the name “Jesus” which is from the Greek Iesous, which strictly speaking is a name of God from the west, but since the doctrine of the Trinity is not correct, as in the Father and the Son are not always the same being described as the LORD, the name in question has to be “Jehovah”, which is a name of God the Father that the English scholar William Tyndale first figured out, and it is the name of God the Father that features in the KJV.

Now, you might wonder, what about “Yahweh”? Yahweh was first advanced by Wilhelm Gesenius, a German, which also means a scholar in the west. In this sense, arguably, it is a name from the west. Then again, the name Yahweh, which is derived from another name used by the ancient Samaritans, is supposed to be Hebrew. Whether it is actually sound Hebrew is debatable. By contrast, the name Jehovah is Latin, a language of Rome, a place in the west. This means, Jehovah must be “the name of the LORD”, ie. the name of God the Father, “from the west”.

It follows from all this that “Yehovah” is the name of God the Father in Hebrew. This means, Nehemia Gordon is correct about the Tetragrammaton, יהוה‎.

I did mention in my last post that I am a saint, and so per Bible prophecy I am to know the name of God the Father before everyone else. But at the time, I did not know when or how it would happen. This sign coming soon after my last post means now I do know.

One more thing.

What is this event that will cause the enemies and adversaries of God to fear the name of the LORD from the west, and fear his glory from the rising of the sun?

According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear…

Isaiah 59:18-19

I read the part that goes “to the islands he will repay recompence” to mean the exploding of the Pacific Ring of Fire: in other words, severe earthquakes and volcanic eruptions at the time of the trumpets and vials of Revelation. You see, towards the end of these last days, when the Ring of Fire erupts per the will of God, entire islands will go into the sea!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Psalms 46:1-6

This is why this particular sign began with an earthquake in the Pacific.

Think about it. Hundred of millions of people will die when the Ring of Fire explodes. This event will cause the enemies and adversaries of God to fear – I mean really fear – the name of God. Not only will they fear God, but they will also fear his glory from the rising of the sun. As for why they will come to fear the east, I won’t say more here except to remind that in war, there is strength in numbers.

Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea? … thou also shalt seek strength because of the enemy.

Nahum 3:8-11
