Recently, a storm off the west coast of the USA pushed waves as high as 10 metres into places such as Ventura County, Los Angeles. Video footage captured the moment the raging sea went over a wall and knocked some off their feet and sent others running for safety (ref. 1).
This brings to mind the coming prophecy of Jeremiah 51:42.
The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

This prophecy, which will be fulfilled on the day of the LORD, will involve nuclear drone torpedos, an autonomous weapon of mass destruction currently in the arsenal of a superpower. When exploded off the coast of a target city, it will send a radioactive tsunami into the streets, sweeping away anything in its path and ensuring utter desolation thereafter.
How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations! The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof. Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.
Jeremiah 51:41-43
This is the day and hour of the end of Babylon.
The very next verse, Jeremiah 51:44, as I read it, speaks of the end of the organisation that is the United Nations.
And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

Today, the entire world flows, as it were, unto Babylon. Representatives of all nations assemble in the United Nations Headquarters, which is located in New York.
I suppose, the Devil chose New York to be the epicentre of his worldwide empire because the original York in England was where Constantine had made Britannia and then all of Rome Christian (ref. Isaiah 53:12).
Now, ever since the war for Gaza started, the United Nations has been critical of Israel. Again and again, the majority of the UN General Assembly and also the Security Council have been for Palestinians and against Jews.
This should be no surprise because, today, more or less the entire world is under the control of Satan (ref. John 16:11, John 12:31, etc).
… and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake [Ye-hudah, Ye-hoshua, Je-sus].

What is more, the organisation that is the UN even has a prayer room or what it calls a “Meditation Room” in its headquarters funded by the Lucis Trust, which was originally the Lucifer Publishing Company, something the American occultist Alice Bailey had set up. Luciferians and the UN: you can’t make this stuff up!
The animosity between the UN and Israel is now such that Israel has decided to deny visas to UN officials (ref. 2).
Yesterday, South Africa launched a formal case against Israel at the UN International Court of Justice in the Hague, accusing Israel of “genocide” (ref. 3).
When the war for Ukraine started, Ukraine also tried to do something similar to Russia. Nothing came from it, and the war goes on anyway.
At any rate, the idea that genocide is a war crime is flawed.
First, not everything deserves to be protected and preserved. The Aztecs were known to raid neighbouring villages to behead and cut out the beating hearts of captives in religious ceremonies while standing atop pyramids. The Carthaginians practised ritual child sacrifice involving tophets. Several Polynesian islands were into cannibalism for spiritual reasons until they were taught otherwise.
Now, what if a culture and religion promotes suicide bombers and sex slavery? Should that way of life be protected and preserved?
Re-education would be an idea, except the likes of America argue that that too amounts to genocide. I am referring to the situation of China and the Uighurs.
Notice in the 17th century, James I was the son of Catholic Queen Mary, yet his upbringing by Scottish Presbyterians led him to become a renowned witch hunter and to commission the KJV Bible. So, education can sometimes work.
But Muslims under Sharia law cannot simply leave Islam because the punishment for apostasy is death.
Next, if genocide were a war crime, what would be the point of war in the first place? Imagine defeating the Nazis only to allow the Nazis to continue in power and carry on with their Nazi agenda, or to spread Nazism to the next generation. I am not sure whether the Hague has thought this through.
Even the authority of the UN Security Council ultimately comes down to a few states that possess nuclear bombs, weapons that if used would bring about some sort of “genocide”.
So, international law is ridiculous.
Might is right, because God is the LORD of hosts and he is Almighty.
One day in the not too distant future, the UN itself will be no more. This is the prophecy of Jeremiah 51:44.
And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

The very next verse exhorts Jews, the people of God, to leave Babylon.
My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
Jeremiah 51:45
Leave Babylon, because her days are numbered. With the end of Babylon will come the end of the UN, the end of the Security Council, the also the end of the International Court of Justice.
Instead, after the day of the LORD, the nations of the world will turn to Zion.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
